Custom Work
I take custom work several times a year based on my time availability. When I open customs, it will be listed under the Jewelry Menu on the Custom Work Page and on the Home Page. You can also sign up for my email list to be the first to know about customs, specials, and upcoming events.

Custom work requires a 50% non-refundable deposit. Customs will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. If I have 10 custom slots open, for example, I will take the first 10 people for customs and the next 10 people for reserves. I will contact you in the order your request is received, and if you are on reserves I will email you to let you know what number you are on the list. After the initial discussion about your custom order, If for any reason you are no longer interested in placing an order, I will fill your position with the first person from the reserves list.
If you are interested in placing an order, I will then collect the 50% non-refundable deposit. Once your deposit has cleared my account, I will begin work on your custom piece, keeping you informed every step of the way. After I have collected your deposit and begun working on your order, if you for whatever reason need to back out or cancel your order, the deposit is non-refundable. However, I make every effort to inform you about the process up front, and will answer any questions/concerns you may have BEFORE I collect your deposit.
If I end up having more time for customs than I originally planned, I will contact clients from the reserves list in the order that they were received. If you are on the reserves list, and I am unable to get to you during my allotted customs time, I will email you to let you know. You will have the option to be first in line for the next time I open customs.

SIZING
How to Measure your wrist size:

Step 1: Wrap the tape measure around the wrist bone, so that it fits snuggly without feeling too tight or too loose.

Step 2: Mark where the tape measure overlaps. This is the exact circumference of your wrist.

Step 3: Decide your fit.
For a Snug fit: Add 0.25 to 0.5
For a Comfort fit: Add 0.75 to 1.0
For a Loose fit: Add 1.25

Step 4: Account for the bracelet style. Round weaves such as Snake and Turkish Round need to be a little larger than average. Flat weaves such as European, Half Persian, and Parallel need to be a little smaller than average.

For round weaves: Add 0.5 to the fit measurement you decided in step 3.

For flat weaves: Subtract 0.5 to the fit measurement you decided in step 3.

Tip #1: If you don't have a tape measure, you can use a string or a ribbon. Mark the ribbon where it overlaps and use a ruler to measure the length. Then decide your fit in steps 3 and 4.

Tip #2: You can also measure another bracelet that fits well. Unclasp the bracelet and lay it out flat on a table. Make sure to measure from the tip of the clasp to the exact point you normally fasten your bracelet. When using this method, especially if the bracelet you are using is a similar style to what you are purchasing, you do not need to complete step 3 and 4. The measurement you get using this tip, is the exact size you need to order! Unless your bracelet is dainty and you are purchasing a round weave. Then add 0.5 inches to this measurement.

How to measure for a necklace:

Step 1: Standing in front of a mirror, take a flexible measuring tape, ribbon, or string and drape it around your neck so that the two ends are in the front.
Step 2: Join both ends at the point where you would like your necklace to rest. Remember if you are planning to where a pendant, to visualize what it would look like at this point and adjust accordingly.

Step 3: If you are using a string or ribbon to measure, mark the point where they overlap. Lay string or ribbon flat on a table and use a ruler to measure.

Tip #1: If you have a favorite necklace you can also measure it. Unhook the clasp and lay it flat on a table. Use a ruler to measure.

Tip#2: Don't forget to account for the style of necklace you a purchasing! Flat weaves won't matter as much here, but round weaves do! You will need to add 1.0 inches to your measurement for every 6.0 inches of your measurement. For example: If your measurement is 18 inches, and you are wanting to purchase a Turkish Round necklace, you should add 3.0 inches for a total of 21 inches.
